50 plates for 50 states!

What would YOU do? Your kids have a one hour commute to school each morning, you regularly drive with them to New York and Toronto...LOTS of hours looking at other cars.

So, we decided to try and collect all 50 license plates. Day One, we got about a half-dozen, including Washington state.

Day Two, we drove past Boston College and scored Nevada, Texas, Delaware, and Ohio! We pulled over and CMB ran down the sidewalk snapping photos on my iPhone. Later, we saw Idaho but were unable to get a photo. We're counting it though. Friday afternoon, I took the boys to CVS and MMB got Rhode Island.

Then today, I drove YLB to Brookline and we got Oregon!

I picked up CMB in Needham, and in a moment of brilliance, I drove into the parking garage at Wellesley College!

It was a goldmine! Wisconsin, South Carolina, Illinois, Indiana, Georgia, and Oklahoma!

My guess is that Alaska will be number 49, and Hawaii will be number 50. Not sure how/why there would be a Hawaii plate in MA, but perhaps a former resident has one as a souvenir?
